ABOUT THE PROJECT

Conceived as the "Third Natural World," The Future is Wild is an internationally acclaimed intellectual exercise bridging scientific rigor with creative world-building. While our current world is defined by present discovery and the prehistoric world by fossils, this project explores an imagined yet scientifically plausible biosphere millions of years ahead.

The Future is Wild ART platform unites contemporary artists, curators, and researchers to interpret these future ecosystems through sculpture, painting, and immersive media. Coordinated in collaboration with Diana von Hohenthal und Bergen, the initiative brings speculative biology directly into the contemporary art dialogue—challenging our relationship with ecology, biodiversity, and planetary time.

The Future Is Wild RINASCIMENTO

First live stream of The Future is Wild: RENAISSANCE. We're kicking off with one of the species from the very first episode—the Gannetwhale—and evolving it into a giant filter feeder, just like baleen whales or whale sharks!
